Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228398TBR-0033, measures 40 mm across in 18 ct yellow gold. The case stands 12 mm thick and is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, complete with the Cyclops lens over the date. The bezel is diamond-set, giving the white dial a distinct sparkle at the edges. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding Rolex manufacture movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date in apertures alongside a central seconds hand, and is set with diamonds on the bezel. It is fitted to a President bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown helps keep the case waterproof to 100 metres.
