Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228398TBR-0003, measures 40 mm in yellow gold. The case stands 12 mm thick and carries a screw-down winding crown as part of the Oyster architecture. A diamond-set bezel surrounds the champagne-colour dial, which sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding Rolex manufacture movement with a power reserve of about 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date in apertures alongside a running seconds display. It is fitted with a President bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. With the crown screwed down, the case holds its rating of 100 metres.
