Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

This Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228398TBR-0002, is cased in 18 ct yellow gold with a diameter of 40 millimetres and a case thickness of 12 millimetres. The bezel is diamond-set, and the champagne dial is set with diamonds as well, viewed through a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, and the watch carries chronometer certification. The day and date appear in apertures at the top and side of the dial, with a central seconds hand completing the display. A President bracelet in yellow gold, closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp, accompanies the case. The screw-down crown helps keep the case rated to 100 metres.
