Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228398TBR-0001, is cased in 18 ct yellow gold with a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 12 mm. The bright black dial is set with diamonds and sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. A diamond-set bezel frames the dial, and the case is fitted with a screw-down crown. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date, useful complications built into this Day-Date. It is fitted to a President bracelet in yellow gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, backed by the screw-down crown's Twinlock system.
