Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228396TBR-0043, is cased in platinum measuring 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. The dial is white mother-of-pearl set with diamonds, matched to a diamond-set bezel, and it sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, chronometer certified. The dial shows day and date in apertures alongside central seconds, standard Day-Date functions. A screw-down crown protects the movement, in keeping with the Oyster case. The platinum President bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, backed by the screw-down crown's Twinlock system.
