Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228396TBR-0042, measures 40 mm across in platinum with a diamond-set bezel. The case stands 12 mm thick and carries a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding Perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The blue ombré dial shows a coloured centre that darkens toward the edge, with day and date apertures set with diamonds. A screw-down crown backs up the Twinlock waterproofness system. The watch is fitted to a President bracelet in platinum with a concealed folding Crownclasp. It stays water resistant to a depth of 100 metres.
