Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228396TBR-0039, is a men's watch in 40 mm platinum. The case measures 12 mm thick and is set with diamonds on its bezel. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and the dial is finished in ice blue. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The dial shows the day and date along with central seconds, and the hands and indices are luminous. The watch is fitted to a President bracelet in platinum, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp, also in platinum. The screw-down crown helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
