Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228396TBR-0030, comes in platinum and measures 40 mm across with a case thickness of 12 mm. The bezel is diamond-set, and the case pairs with a President bracelet in matching platinum secured by a concealed folding Crownclasp. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date aperture, and the ice-blue dial shows the day and date alongside a running seconds hand. Inside is calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch is set with diamonds and carries Rolex's screw-down crown with its Twinlock double waterproofness system. That crown helps keep the platinum case waterproof to 100 metres.
