Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

This Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228396TBR-0027, comes in a 40 mm platinum case measuring 12 mm thick. The dial is meteorite, set with diamonds, and paired with a diamond-set bezel, giving the watch a considerable amount of stone-setting for a piece that is still, at heart, a chronometer. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding, perpetual movement with day and date functions and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The screw-down crown protects the movement and contributes to the watch's water resistance. Rolex fits the watch to a President bracelet in platinum, closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The case is waterproof to 100 metres.
