Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228396TBR-0026, cased in 950 platinum at 40 mm across. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a diamond-set bezel around the bright blue dial. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is calibre 3255, a self-winding chronometer movement with day and date functions and a power reserve of about 70 hours. Central seconds and a screw-down crown complete the practical layout, while the gemstones set into the bezel give the watch its dressier presence. The platinum President bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance reaches 100 metres, courtesy of the screw-down crown's double waterproofness system.
