Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

This Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228396TBR-0012, comes in platinum with a case measuring 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. The bezel is diamond-set, and the bright black dial is set with diamonds of its own, viewed through a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch shows the day and date, both set instantaneously, along with central seconds. It is fitted with a platinum President bracelet and closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown, part of the Twinlock system, helps keep the case waterproof to 100 metres.
