Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228396TBR-0002, cased in platinum with a diameter of 40 mm. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a diamond-set bezel around an ice-blue dial set with diamonds. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3255, a Rolex manufacture movement with 70 hours of power reserve, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch shows the day and date, both set instantaneously, alongside a central seconds hand. It is fitted on a platinum President bracelet with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown, part of the Twinlock system, helps keep the case waterproof to 100 metres.
