Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228349RBR-0041, measures 40 mm in white gold and stands 12 mm thick. The case carries a diamond-set bezel, and the slate dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding Perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. Hands and indices are luminous, and the day and date appear together in apertures near the dial's centre. Diamonds are set into the case. The watch is fitted to a President bracelet in white gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Its screw-down winding crown, part of the Twinlock system, keeps the case waterproof to 100 metres.
