Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228349RBR-0039, comes in an 18 ct white gold case measuring 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. The bezel is diamond-set, and the white dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch shows the day and date, with instantaneous changes in both apertures, and is set with diamonds on the bezel. It is fitted with the President bracelet in matching white gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown, part of the Twinlock system, helps keep the case waterproof to 100 metres.
