The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228349RBR-0005, measures 40 mm in white gold. The case stands 12 mm thick and carries a diamond-set bezel around the bright blue dial. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3255, a perpetual mechanical movement certified as a Superlative Chronometer with about 70 hours of power reserve.
