Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228349RBR-0002, comes in 18 ct white gold with a case measuring 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. A diamond-set bezel frames the bright black dial, which sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. The self-winding calibre 3255 drives the watch, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, and the movement carries Superlative Chronometer certification. Day and date appear in apertures, shown instantaneously with secure rapid-setting. The watch is set with diamonds. It is fitted to a President bracelet in matching white gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown, part of the Twinlock system, keeps the case waterproof to 100 metres.
