Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228348RBR-0045, is cased in 18 ct yellow gold with a diameter of 40 mm and a case thickness of 12 mm. The bezel is diamond-set, giving the case its sparkle against the green ombré dial, which fades from colour at the centre to black at the edge. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date, and its screw-down crown works with the monobloc case construction. It is fitted with a President bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The Twinlock crown helps keep the case waterproof to 100 metres.
