Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228348RBR-0043, is a 40 mm case in yellow gold with a diamond-set bezel. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Rolex's Superlative Chronometer certification. The bright black dial shows luminous hands and indices, with the day and date displayed in apertures and set with diamonds. The watch is fitted on a President bracelet in yellow gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown keeps the case water resistant to a depth of 100 metres.
