Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228348RBR-0003, is cased in 18 ct yellow gold at 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. The bezel is diamond-set, giving the case its sparkle over the champagne-colour dial. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement certified as a Superlative Chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The dial shows the day and date along with central seconds, and the crown is a screw-down design. The watch is fitted to a President bracelet in yellow gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
