Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228345RBR-0016, a 40 mm case in 18 ct Everose gold. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a diamond-set bezel around a dial made from eisenkiesel, a veined quartz stone set with diamonds. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding Rolex movement with day and date shown in apertures and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours; it is certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is fitted with a President bracelet in Everose gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
