Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228239-0060, measures 40 mm in white gold. The case stands 12 mm thick and pairs with a fluted white gold bezel, a longstanding Rolex signature. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the slate dial shows luminous hands and indices for legibility. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve and certified as a chronometer. Beyond the date, the dial displays the weekday in a separate aperture, both set instantaneously. The watch is fitted on a President bracelet in white gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
