Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228239-0055, measures 40 mm across in 18 ct white gold and stands 12 mm thick. The case has a fluted white gold bezel and a screw-down crown, and the dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. Made of meteorite and set with diamonds, the dial shows the day and date along with central seconds. Inside is calibre 3255, a self-winding chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch is fitted with a President bracelet in white gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp, also in white gold. The screw-down crown holds the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
