Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228239-0005, cased in 18 ct white gold. The case measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick, with a fluted bezel and a screw-down crown. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the bright black dial is set with diamonds. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a 70-hour power reserve, and Rolex certifies the watch as a chronometer. Alongside the date, the dial shows the day of the week spelled out in a window near twelve. The watch is fitted to a President bracelet in white gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
