The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228239-0005, is cased in White Gold with a Fluted bezel and measures 40 mm in diameter, 12 mm thick. The bright black dial is set with diamonds and pairs with a President bracelet, closed off by a sapphire crystal. Inside is the self-winding caliber 3255, a chronometer movement offering 72 hours of power reserve and displaying both date and weekday. The case is water resistant to 100 meters.
