Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228238-0066, has a 40 mm case in yellow gold. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted bezel, a Rolex signature. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, magnifying the day and date apertures below. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The silver dial shows luminous hands and indices along with the central seconds function typical of this collection.
