Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228238-0061, cased in 18 ct yellow gold at 40 mm across. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted yellow gold bezel, a Rolex signature. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, above a green lacquered dial. Inside is calibre 3255, a self-winding Perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date in apertures and is fitted with a screw-down crown. It comes on a President bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
