Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228238-0005, has a 40 mm case in yellow gold. The case measures 12 mm thick and the fluted bezel is rendered in the same gold. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, protecting a champagne-colour dial set with diamonds. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, and the watch shows central seconds along with day and date. The screw-down crown adds to the watch's overall security. It is fitted to a President bracelet in yellow gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. This Day-Date is rated waterproof to 100 metres.
