Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228236-0026, has a 40 mm platinum case and a fluted platinum bezel. The case measures 12 mm thick and pairs with a fluted bezel, a Rolex signature detail on this metal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a 70-hour power reserve and Superlative Chronometer certification. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, and the watch also shows the day and date, both features that give the Day-Date its name. It comes on a platinum President bracelet with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The case carries a 100 metre water resistance rating.
