Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228236-0012, cased in platinum. The case measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick, with a fluted platinum bezel and a screw-down crown. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal covers the ice-blue dial, with a Cyclops lens magnifying the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding perpetual movement offering approximately 70 hours of power reserve. As a chronometer, it displays the day and date in apertures alongside centre seconds. The watch is fitted with a platinum President bracelet closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres of water resistance.
