Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228236-0011, cased in platinum at 40 mm. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted platinum bezel, a Rolex signature. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the meteorite dial is set with diamonds, its Widmanstätten patterns unique to each piece. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding perpetual movement with roughly 70 hours of power reserve, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The day and date show instantaneously in twin apertures, a hallmark of this collection. The watch is fitted with a platinum President bracelet and closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down winding crown, with its Twinlock system, keeps the case waterproof to 100 metres.
