Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228236-0009, cased in 40 mm platinum. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted bezel, a Rolex signature in this metal. A screw-down crown secures the case, and the date sits under a Cyclops lens on the sapphire crystal. The dial is paved with diamonds and sapphires, set with diamonds at 6 and 9 o'clock, and shows both the day and date in apertures. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3255, a Superlative Chronometer with about 70 hours of power reserve. The platinum President bracelet closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance stands at 100 metres, courtesy of that screw-down crown and the monobloc case construction.
