Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228236-0008, is a men's model cased in platinum with a 40 mm diameter. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted platinum bezel, a Rolex signature. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The olive green dial shows day and date apertures alongside central seconds, and the crown is a screw-down type. The watch is fitted on a platinum President bracelet with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
