Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228236-0004, in platinum, measures 40 mm across and 12 mm thick. The case has a fluted platinum bezel and a screw-down crown, and the bright black dial is set with diamonds, ten baguette-cut stones in total. A Cyclops lens sits over the date on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with day and date functions and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer. The watch is fitted to a platinum President bracelet with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Rolex rates the case to 100 metres.
