Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228235-0056, has a 40 mm case in rose gold. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted bezel, a Rolex signature detail rendered here in gold. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3255, a chronometer movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The white mother-of-pearl dial is set with diamonds, and the watch also shows the day and date, standard Day-Date functions. It comes on a rose gold President bracelet fitted with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The Twinlock screw-down crown helps hold the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
