Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228235-0045, measures 40 mm across in rose gold. The case stands 12 mm thick and carries a fluted bezel in the same gold. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the eisenkiesel dial is set with diamonds, a deep brown veined stone Rolex introduced in 2021. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3255, a chronometer-certified movement with a power reserve of about 70 hours. The watch shows day and date through apertures, both instantaneously changing, alongside a screw-down crown for added protection. It is fitted to a President bracelet in rose gold with a concealed folding Crownclasp. The case is waterproof to 100 metres.
