Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228235-0004, measures 40 mm across in Everose gold. The case stands 12 mm thick and carries a fluted bezel in the same rose gold. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the Sundust dial is set with diamonds, ten baguette-cut stones in total. Inside is the calibre 3255, a perpetual, self-winding movement with 70 hours of power reserve and chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date and is fitted with a screw-down crown. It is a chronometer, presented on a President bracelet in Everose gold closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The screw-down crown helps keep the case waterproof to 100 metres.
