Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 40 mm, reference 228235-0002, is cased in 18 ct Everose gold with a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 12 mm. The case carries a fluted bezel, a Rolex signature detail, and a screw-down crown. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a chronometer certification and a power reserve of around 70 hours. The chocolate dial shows the day and date along with a central seconds hand. It is fitted to a President bracelet in matching Everose gold, closed with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Waterproofness is rated to 100 metres.
