Rolex Day-Date 40 mm

Rolex Day-Date 40, reference 228235-0001, is a men's watch in 18 ct Everose gold with a 40 mm case. The case measures 12 mm thick and carries a fluted gold bezel, a Rolex signature. A screw-down crown seals the case, and a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date aperture. Inside is the self-winding calibre 3255, a Rolex manufacture movement certified as a chronometer, with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The Sundust dial shows central seconds, day and date, both set instantaneously. It is fitted to a President bracelet in matching Everose gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. That screw-down crown also holds the case to its 100 metre water resistance rating.
