The Rolex Day-Date 36, reference 128398TBR-0028, measures 36 mm in yellow gold. The case follows Rolex's Oyster architecture, with a monobloc middle case and screw-down winding crown, and the dial sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. The bezel is set with diamonds, framing a green ombré dial that fades from colour at the centre to black at the edge. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of about 70 hours, certified as a chronometer. The watch shows the day and date, and central seconds. A President bracelet in yellow gold closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp, and the screw-down crown keeps the case waterproof to 100 metres.
