Rolex Day-Date 36 mm

Rolex's Day-Date 36, reference 128348RBR-0049, comes in an 18 ct yellow gold case measuring 36 mm across. The dial is cut from carnelian and set with diamonds, with hour markers and Roman numerals also set with diamonds, and the diamond-set bezel continues the treatment around the case. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, and the movement is the self-winding calibre 3255, a chronometer with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The watch shows the day and date, driven by a screw-down crown that protects the Twinlock system. It is fitted with the President bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance stands at 100 metres, courtesy of that same screw-down crown.
