Rolex Day-Date 36 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 36, reference 128239-0063, is a chronometer housed in an 18 ct white gold case measuring 36 mm across. The case pairs with a fluted bezel, a Rolex signature that once served a functional purpose and is now largely decorative. A sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens sits over the date, magnifying it against the blue ombré dial, which shades from a coloured centre to black at the edge. Inside is calibre 3255, a self-winding movement from Rolex's own manufacture with a power reserve of about 70 hours. Beyond the day and date, the watch offers central seconds and a screw-down crown. A President bracelet in matching white gold closes with a concealed folding Crownclasp, and the case is rated to 100 metres of water resistance.
