Rolex Day-Date 36 mm

Rolex Day-Date 36, reference 128238-0045, measures 36 mm in yellow gold. The case has a fluted bezel and carries the Cyclops lens over the date on the sapphire crystal. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding chronometer movement with 70 hours of power reserve. The dial is champagne-colour and shows the day and date in apertures alongside a central seconds hand, all set by a screw-down crown. This is a Day-Date, the model Rolex introduced in 1956 with the President bracelet, and the watch here is fitted with that bracelet in yellow gold, closed by a concealed folding Crownclasp. The gold case holds its water resistance to 100 metres.
