Rolex Day-Date 36 mm

The Rolex Day-Date 36, reference 128236-0020, is a 36 mm case in platinum. The dial is a blue ombré finish, shading from colour at the centre to black at the edge, and sits under a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens over the date. A fluted bezel in platinum frames the dial, a Rolex signature detail carried through in the same metal as the case. Inside is the calibre 3255, a self-winding perpetual movement with a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and Superlative Chronometer certification. The watch shows the day and date, along with central seconds, and the screw-down crown adds to the case's security. It is fitted to a President bracelet in platinum with a concealed folding Crownclasp. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.
