Patek Philippe's Nautilus 5980/60G-001 is a chronograph in a 40.5 mm white gold case, a rare configuration for this reference. The case measures 12.2 mm thick and carries a sapphire crystal over a blue-grey opaline dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre CH 28-520 C, a flyback chronograph movement with a 45-hour power reserve. The chronograph functions are grouped on a large monocounter at 6 o'clock, showing 60 minutes and 12 hours on concentric scales, with a date aperture at 3 o'clock. Hour markers and hands carry white luminescent coating for legibility in low light. The watch comes on a blue-grey calfskin strap with a white gold folding clasp. The screw-down crown keeps the case water resistant to 30 metres.
