Patek Philippe's Grand Complications 5204G-001 is a chronograph in a 40 mm white gold case measuring 14.3 mm thick. The case houses a manually wound CHR 29-535 PS Q calibre with a split-seconds chronograph and perpetual calendar, the two functions built around two column wheels and a horizontal clutch. A sapphire crystal sits over the dial, and the sheet notes an interchangeable solid caseback alongside the sapphire one. The black dial carries luminous hands and indices, along with day, month and moon phase displays and a small seconds subdial. Date is shown by hand rather than through an aperture. The watch is fitted to a calf leather strap closed by a white gold folding clasp. Patek Philippe rates this case to 30 metres of water resistance.
