Omega Speedmaster Racing 329.30.44.51.04.001 is a steel chronograph with a 44.25 mm case. It measures 14.92 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 50 mm, so it wears with real presence on the wrist. A domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides covers the white dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 9900, a Master Chronometer movement with column wheel and Co-Axial escapement, certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Beyond the chronograph function the dial adds small seconds, a date window and a tachymeter scale, and the caseback is transparent. A steel bracelet with a foldover clasp and comfort setting fits the watch, which carries a 50 metre water resistance rating.
