OMEGA Speedmaster Racing

Omega's Speedmaster Racing, reference 329.30.44.51.01.001, is a chronograph with a 44.25 mm steel case. The case measures 14.92 mm thick and 50 mm lug to lug, with 21 mm between the lugs. A domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides covers the black dial. Inside is the self-winding calibre 9900, a Master Chronometer movement with column wheel, Co-Axial escapement and silicon balance spring, certified to withstand magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It runs on two barrels mounted in series for 60 hours of power reserve. Beyond the chronograph function, the watch adds a tachymeter scale, small seconds, date and a transparent caseback showing the movement. The steel bracelet closes with a foldover clasp with comfort setting. Water resistance reaches 50 metres.
