OMEGA Speedmaster Racing

Omega's Speedmaster Racing, reference 329.23.44.51.06.001, is a chronograph in a steel case measuring 44.25 mm across. The case stands 14.92 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 50 mm. A domed sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides covers the grey dial. The self-winding calibre 9900 drives the watch, a column-wheel chronograph with co-axial escapement and a silicon balance spring, certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. Its power reserve runs to 60 hours. The chronograph adds a date display, small seconds, twin recorders for elapsed hours and minutes, and a tachymeter scale. The watch is fitted on a grey alligator leather strap with a steel foldover clasp. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres.
