OMEGA Speedmaster Moonphase

Omega's Speedmaster Moonphase, reference 304.33.44.52.01.001, is a chronograph in a 44.25 mm steel case. The case measures 16.85 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 50 mm. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides covers the black dial, and the display back shows the movement beneath. That movement is the self-winding calibre 9904, a Master Chronometer certified column-wheel chronograph with a Co-Axial escapement and 60 hours of power reserve. Beyond the chronograph function it adds a moonphase indication, small seconds and a date shown by hand, along with a tachymeter scale. The watch is fitted to a black alligator leather strap on a steel foldover clasp. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres.
