OMEGA Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon (Apollo 8)

Omega's Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon (Apollo 8), reference 310.92.44.50.01.001, is a chronograph with a 44.25 mm black ceramic case. It measures 12.97 mm thick with a lug-to-lug of 50 mm, and the black dial sits under a sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on both sides. Inside is the manual-winding calibre 3869, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement certified by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, with a power reserve of 50 hours. The main plate and bridges carry a moon-relief texture with laser-engraved detail. A tachymeter scale accompanies the chronograph, and small seconds appear on the dial. The case has a display back. Water resistance is rated to 50 metres on the black rubber strap with its ceramic foldover clasp.
