Omega's De Ville Prestige ref. 434.20.40.20.02.002 measures 40 mm across in steel and yellow gold. The case stands 9.93 mm thick with a lug-to-lug span of 46.26 mm, and the silver dial sits under a domed sapphire crystal treated with anti-reflective coating on the inside. Inside is the self-winding calibre 8800, a Co-Axial movement certified as a Master Chronometer by METAS and resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, with a free sprung-balance and silicon balance spring giving 55 hours of power reserve. A date function sits on the dial, and a transparent caseback shows the movement's rhodium-plated finish and Geneva waves in arabesque. The matching steel and gold bracelet closes with a butterfly clasp. Water resistance is modest: the case is rated to 30 metres.
